109SS is a temperature sensor probe produced by Campbell Scientific Inc. (CSI) that is capable of withstanding harsh outdoor environments. The 316L stainless steel protective sleeve wrapped around the thermistor ensures that the product can work stably and reliably even in underground/underwater or corrosive environments. 109SS has a short response time and can be connected to all CR series data collectors of CSI for use. In addition, the 109 temperature sensor can also be connected to the wireless sensor measurement network through the CWS900 series wireless sensor interface to achieve digital wireless transmission of measurement data.

The effective range of the 109SS temperature sensor can reach -40 ℃~70 ℃, and the thermistor used can also ensure no damage even in harsh environments of 100 ℃. Its maximum burial depth can reach 15.24 meters.
